ABOUT
Owner of one of the most difficult last names in the world to pronounce "Ichiyanagui" (yep, try it), bold Tabasco eater, ad nerd, writer of books not yet published, coffee drinker 365 days a year, and twenty-four hours a day seven days a week thinker, quoted Barney the dinosaur in a graduation speech. 
Besides all of that, there's Mar Ichiyanagui, a senior creative copywriter originally from Peru, currently having fun at L&C NYC.
Previously at draftLine BUE, BBDO Argentina and Publicis in her hometown Lima, Peru.
Mar start as a copywriter at Publicis Peru when she was very young, then she emigrated, having the lucky to experience the industry in one of the world's creative hotspots: Argentina, and at this moment she is writing about herself in third person to continue with the strange trend of writing your own autobiography in third person.  
So weird but back to where we were, Argentina is where she developed most of her career. During that time she worked in two of the most recognized agencies in that country, having the privilege of learning from the best creatives around, and creating impactful and meaningful work for local and global clients. 
Mar's work has been recognized round the best advertising festivals like El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Diente (Argentinian Creative Circle), Lápiz de Platino, Clio, Effie, and others.

*Yes, "Ichiyanagui" is a Japanese last name. Yes, it's all thanks to her paternal grandfather who was Japanese. So yes, Mar is Peruvian-Japanese.
